“Smile Movement” arrives to Dorval-Jean XXIII

In collaboration with the Carrefour jeunesse emploi de l’Ouest-de-l’Ile, students from École secondaire Dorval-Jean-XXIII organized a volunteer project for homeless people.  Nathan Fortin of the #SmileMovement was invited to motivate students in a workshop addressing the topics of rejection, exclusion and self-confidence, as well as the pertinence of smiling and sharing.  Then, the group went on an interactive tour to meet homeless in the streets of Montreal, giving official hats of the #smilemovement and gift bags that were prepared in advance by the students.
